... the patterns of camoflauge mean a lot to me in terms of expressing my gender identity. this is because i was raised around hunting culture and my deep love for animals. camoflauge feels validating because it is an inherently unisex pattern that is primarily used by men, but can be adopted by women as well in a way that is atypical to traditional femininity. this is very similar to how i view my own gender, and combined with my intrinsic connection to animals and nature, is the perfect symbol for my gender representation. thus ...
